We came back to collage and got straight onto our next unit/play/performince, The Lion the, The witch and the wardrobe.
We started off with my cast ,who are mostly just first years apart from the people who are double casted, with reading though the first act of the script for the first hour or two and then had a lunch break. When we got back it was all of the first years and second years together and started on the big fight scene. We thought it would be better to get into pairs aka Peter and The Witch, Edmund and Maugrim, and lucy with a randomer (aka someone from the other casts who is not in the play) we where then told to plan out a fight type scene with each other, so we started off thinking about how to start it off and came up with walking on from each side directly towards each other and then walk in a circle clockwise until we swapped sides and then charged at each other. The Witch was trying to take my feet out with her staff and me jumping over it and then looking at each other for about 2 seconds and then charging at each other with me going downwards with my sword and the witch blocking me.
We did this diffrently about four times before the witch spins around and tries to take my feet out again and then swinging her staff downwards at me where I grab it and then throw it left including witch on the floor. I then go to kill her by swinging my sword downwards where she trips me up and I end up on the floor and then she goes for her staff and I grab her arm and fling her over me and then go for my sword to my left and she kicks the sword away then me. We pick up our weapons and start to fight until she knocks my sword out my hand and then kicks me on the floor where it ended. We then showed this back.
